On Adele and porn!

I’ve always had this weird relationship with Adele songs, I listen to them, I find them bland and monotonous then they got stuck in my head for days and sometimes weeks until I finally realize how brilliant they are and start listening to them every single day, admiring the geniality of the lyrics, it all started with the line ” My hands, they’re strong, but my knees were far too weak, To stand in your arms without falling to your feet” and skyfall was no exception.

Another behavioral habit of mine when it comes to music, is to instantly look for the covers of the song by independent artists- which are in many cases way better than the original, talking Rihanna or Katy perry- and skyfall was no exception sans the being better part.
As I was going through my list of YouTube artists that I find their work remarkable, it hit me how the same words would have a totally different meaning, have a whole new story behind them once uttered by a different person.

How I would take the same exact sentence from two people, totally accept it from one and being too aggressive replying it to another, is it the tone of voice, the way of phrasing or the feelings involved in it…I don’t know.

I worship words, I even dream about words sometimes, hence this dilemma took more space in my brain than the fear of them banning porn websites and the hard drive(s) assortment I’ve been working on to protect my human right in watching porn as educational, spiritual and enlightening the porn could be.

Anyway so I started thinking deeply into the matter and wondering if it is a common belief that we -as humans- perceive colors differently, like there is no proof that what I see and call yellow is the exact hue that you would and call the same but both of us are Ok with the fact that we usually call the same on the same, so no problem here.

So what if words were the same, what if we don’t really perceive the letters in the same way, rather we react to the feelings it conveys, the emotional burden it holds and our expectations of the person saying them, some adopt the general idea stating that we perceive words as a complete patterns rather than the sum of letter parts and sounds, we process them in our brains based on past experiences with them, hence certain reactions are triggered and the way it materializes in behavior differs from one person to another, adding it to the facial expression by the one producing them and our own expectations.

Would getting into this rhetoric change anything in the quality of our lives, No but neither would be the fact that we wake up in the morning and tweet good morning followers.
